For those who complete self-assessment tax returns the following deadlines apply:
- 31st October 2008 to submit a paper return
- 30th December 2008 to submit your return online and for the tax to be collected through your tax code (if possible) where you owe less than £2,000
- 31st January 2009 to submit your return online
